Iceland is an island nation in the North Atlantic Ocean. It's one of the Nordic countries and, therefore, culturally part of Europe. Iceland's name is a misnomer; while glaciers cover 10% of the land, the climate is mild, and volcanic activity keeps the country warm, hence the nickname "Land of Fire and Ice."
Iceland is an awe-inspiring country rich in history, scenic landscapes, and welcoming people. Settled by Nordic explorers around 874 AD, Iceland's heritage stems from countries around Europe, including Norway, Sweden, Ireland, and Britain. As the second-largest island in Europe, the country is an ecosystem brimming with diverse landscapes such as volcanoes, lava plates, glaciers, mountain ranges, hot springs, black sand beaches, and more.
Iceland is known to be one of the most environmentally-friendly countries on the European continent. With geothermal heating derived from post-glacial volcanoes and rushing rivers harnessing hydroelectric power, the country has made impressive strides in pollution-free energy. It's considered one of the best places to visit for sustainable travel, health, and wellness.

The first 3 nights will be held at Hotel Geysir in Haukadalur. This 4-star family owned hotel opened in 2019 and is steps away from the Geysir in Haukadalur . This smoke-free hotel features 5 restaurants, 3 bars/lounges, and 3 coffee shops/cafes. Your private soundproofed room features free WiFi, designer toiletries, a bidet and other amenities.
The northern lights have also been spotted from the hotel grounds (although not a guarantee).
The 4th & 5th night will be at the 4-star contemporary Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina in the Old Harbor. Guest rooms are stylishly decorated in Scandinavian minimalist design with complimentary WiFi. Slippbarinn, the hotel lounge is a local favorite and the birth place of cocktail culture in Iceland.
The hotel is also just a short walk away from the main shopping street, top restaurants, and nightlife.
5 nights in luxury accommodations
No need to worry about how you will get to and from the airport, wait in line for public transportation or drag your luggage around the city, round trip airport transfers, transportation to/from hotels and planned activities are all included.
Amazing and authentic meals served with delicious Icelandic water are also covered. 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 5 dinners are included, including lunch at Lava restaurant in the Blue Lagoon, chef prepared meals and Icelandic dishes served at hand selected restaurants.
